Grow your network and build meaningful connections, discover new opportunities, and raise your business profile
Tired of the usual fast-paced, high-pressure networking events? Our Go-Slow Networking offers a fresh, relaxed approach designed to help you build meaningful connections at a comfortable pace.
Join us for this “Go Slow” networking morning, where meaningful connections unfold at a relaxed pace — allowing for deeper conversations and stronger relationships than traditional speed networking.
Hosted by Amanda Young, your enthusiastic Network Master of Ceremonies, the session will begin with a warm welcome and a brief update on the latest Sussex Chamber member news and upcoming events.
The room is arranged with an inner circle of delegates who remain seated, while the larger outer circle rotates to meet each person one-to-one. You’ll have 4 minutes each to introduce yourselves, making a total of 8 minutes per pair. This slower pace gives you time to genuinely engage and start building stronger relationships, no rushing, no pressure.
The outer circle moves clockwise to meet the next delegate, ensuring you get to speak with everyone in the room. It’s networking reimagined to be inclusive and approachable, perfect for those who find traditional speed networking intimidating.
Stress-free introductions: Walk in not knowing anyone, walk away having connected with everyone.
Quality conversations: The extended time lets you really get to know fellow professionals.
Inclusive format: No hard selling or forced pitches, just authentic, meaningful networking.
Proven success: Our members consistently give great feedback and report tangible business benefits.
Join us to experience networking that’s less about rushing and more about building real business relationships. Whether you’re new to networking or looking for a more enjoyable way to connect, Go-Slow Networking is the perfect fit.
Through interactive discussions and engaging activities, you’ll have the chance to forge authentic relationships, share ideas, and uncover exciting opportunities, all in one of Sussex’s most vibrant and inspiring locations.
