Sussex 7s Series
Launched in 2024, the Sussex 7s Series is the first-ever county-wide 7s competition featuring men's and women's 7s teams from across Sussex. Hosted across different clubs each summer, the Series promotes local talent and provides a platform for players wanting top-level or social rugby 7s
The first year started small and has big ambitions to grow each year with more teams, specialist coaches and referees, and with more entertainment for guests visiting each leg. The winners of the Men's competition in 2024 were Horsham RUFC and the Women's trophy was shared between Horsham RUFC and Heathfield & Waldron RFC
The Sussex 7s Series
Teams battle it out during several legs of intense competition – as music, entertainment, and wonderful food, combine to create great family-friendly outdoor events
Each host venue will welcome rugby fans and newcomers to the sport, sharing their club’s history and uniqueness – providing fun, a friendly atmosphere, and memorable experiences for the competition and its guests
