Sussex and Brighton Strategic Authority – Business Briefing Webinar

Have your say on the future of Sussex and Brighton. Join the Sussex and Brighton Strategic Authority’s business webinar to learn about its plans for economic growth, the forthcoming Prosperity Strategy, and how your business can help shape the region’s future.

The Sussex and Brighton Strategic Authority is a new public body bringing together Brighton & Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex with a shared ambition to drive economic growth and unlock opportunities across the region.

From 2028, the Authority will be led by a directly elected Mayor, similar to the successful models already in place in areas such as London and Greater Manchester.

The Authority will play a key role in shaping the future of the region, with responsibilities spanning:

  • Transport
  • Strategic planning
  • Skills and workforce development
  • Business support
  • Policing and community safety
  • Economic growth and investment

Working alongside local councils, businesses and partner organisations, the Authority will develop a long-term vision for the region through its forthcoming Prosperity Strategy, which is due to be published this autumn.

To help businesses understand the role of the new Authority, learn more about the Prosperity Strategy, and provide valuable business insight that will help shape its development, the Authority is hosting two dedicated webinars for the Sussex and Brighton business community.
