Marlow Ropes is a privately owned British manufacturer of specialist synthetic fibre ropes and assemblies with a remarkable heritage of over 200 years. Their Managing Director, Jon Mitchell, will share insights into the company’s operations and, drawing on his experience as a former DBT Export Champion, will speak about their export journey.

As a refreshing update to our usual format, Jon has kindly arranged guided tours of the showroom and factory for attendees interested in seeing their innovative processes firsthand.

This forum promises to be another highly engaging, informal, and informative gathering. It offers a fantastic networking opportunity for businesses engaged in international trade, as well as a valuable platform to share experiences and tackle global trade challenges together.

Joining Jon on the day will be an expert panel, including:

  • Ana Christie, CEO of the Chamber
  • Rob Pope, DBT Adviser Team Manager
  • David Ryan, DBT International Trade Advisor

Each speaker will deliver a short presentation followed by a Q&A session, where your questions and contributions will be most welcome.

Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be served.
