Brighton i360 turns pink with a fresh new look
Brighton i360 viewing tower has today revealed its new look, with brand-new staff uniforms, large-scale illuminated pink signs and a new pink lighting scheme for the tower and pod.
The visitor attraction has a history of working with local businesses and the rebrand has been no exception. The new Brighton i360 identity has been created by a Brighton business, brand agency, Designate, who designed the new logo, brand guidelines and advertising campaign.
Jason Triandafyllou from Designate says: “Our key priority for the new brand identity was to make sure it was more aligned to the City of Brighton and its overall character. We wanted to make sure it was vibrant, playful, fun and unique. An iconic brand for an iconic city, forward facing and contemporary, with positive values and real personality that will be expressed through all communications.”
The new staff uniforms have been designed by Brighton-based fashion designer Gresham Blake, known for creating high-quality clothing, eye-catching designs, and quirky twists. The new uniform includes a Brighton i360 bespoke print which features the pink Brighton i360 icon, located in the scenery of Brighton beach and the English Channel; as well as Rampion’s offshore wind farm to signify the i360’s sustainable energy practices.
Speaking about the uniform, designer, Gresham Blake, says: “We were really excited to develop a bespoke print for the staff of Brighton i360. The design is bright, fun, innovative and very Brighton - we can’t wait to see the new designs being worn!”
To celebrate the relaunch with the local community, Brighton i360 is hosting events throughout the day for local resident members and for local businesses, charities, commercial partners and suppliers.
Ian Hart, Chief Executive Officer, says: “We are delighted to open today as Brighton i360 and reveal our new identity. From the signage to the uniforms, the branding enables us to further embrace all that is great about our fantastic location and community here in Brighton. We’re also especially pleased that we have worked with two established Brighton businesses in developing our new identity. Brand agency, Designate, has designed our new logo, brand guidelines and advertising campaign, and Gresham Blake has designed our fabulous new uniforms. Everyone at the i360 is really excited for this new chapter.”
To further celebrate the rebrand, Brighton i360 are launching a brand-new ticket, the ‘best value ticket’ which represents a saving of more than 15%. The ticket is for a specified time slot and includes any drink* from the Nyetimber Sky Bar or Lounge Bar, as well as six digital photographs to download and share.
