What if one monthly event could connect your business to new opportunities, insights and partnerships — locally and beyond? Welcome to the Sussex Member Collective.
We are proud to introduce the Sussex Member Collective, a dynamic new monthly members’ meeting series, created exclusively for Sussex Chamber members.
This is more than a meeting.
It is a movement.
A community.
A catalyst.
A collective.
Each month, businesses from across Sussex will come together to share insight, build meaningful relationships, and play an active role in shaping the future of our local economy, while connecting into a wider national and global business network through the British Chambers of Commerce.
This is your opportunity to be part of something bigger, a collaborative, forward‑thinking business community driving growth, innovation, skills, and long‑term success across the region.
As part of the British Chambers of Commerce network, Sussex Chamber connects members to a wider national and international business community, opening the door to global opportunities, insights and partnerships.
The Sussex Member Collective brings that global perspective into a local, accessible, member‑focused setting, helping businesses in Sussex stay informed, competitive and connected.
This monthly event is designed to deliver:
✔ High‑value insights on the issues shaping business
✔ Stronger member connections across the whole county
✔ A united platform to share knowledge, influence decision‑making and support growth
✔ Opportunities for members to shape the Sussex economic landscape
✔ A flagship community event created exclusively for Chamber members
Each month follows a structured, business‑focused format including:
With rotating locations across North, South, East and West Sussex, every member gets access to the Collective.

For more than 25 years, Keith has worked closely with business owners, helping them grow successful businesses, build long-term value and prepare for one of the most significant milestones in their journey: an eventual exit.
As a founding director of Benchmark Capital, Keith played a key role in developing one of the South East's most respected financial planning businesses. Through his experience working with entrepreneurs, he recognised a common challenge. Many business owners spend years creating value in their companies but often have little time to consider how that value will support the life they want beyond the business.
This insight led Keith to establish Cadence Financial Planning, a lifestyle financial planning firm dedicated to helping business owners and their families align their wealth with their personal ambitions. Rather than focusing solely on financial outcomes, Keith helps clients clarify what matters most, define their future goals, and create practical plans to achieve them.
At this month's Sussex Member Collective, we are proud to support the West Sussex Independent Visitor Scheme, a remarkable initiative that provides friendship, guidance and positive role models for children and young people in care aged 8 to 21.
Independent Visitors are trained volunteers who are matched with a young person and spend time with them on a regular basis, building trusted, long-term relationships through simple activities such as going for a walk, visiting a museum, watching a film or enjoying a hot chocolate together. For many young people, this consistent connection can make a lasting difference to their confidence, wellbeing and future aspirations.
The scheme relies on dedicated volunteers from the local community who can commit to spending time with a child or young person once a month, helping to provide stability, encouragement and friendship during an important stage of their lives.
By supporting the Independent Visitor Scheme, Sussex Member Collective attendees can help raise awareness of an initiative that creates meaningful and lasting impact for some of the most vulnerable young people in our community.

Managing Director, Cadence Financial Planning
| Keith has spent the past 25 years in the trenches with business owners, helping them scale their companies, build lasting value, and navigate one of the biggest moments of their working lives: the exit. As a founding director of Benchmark Capital, a Horsham-based financial group, Keith helped shape one of the region's best-known financial planning businesses. But somewhere along the way, he noticed a gap: business owners are brilliant at building value, yet often haven't stopped to work out what that value is actually for. That question led him to set up Cadence Financial Planning, a Lifestyle Financial Planning firm built specifically for business owners and their families. Keith and his team help clients get a clear picture of their finances, define what they actually want their lives to look like, and build a plan that gets them there - not just a bigger balance sheet, but a life well lived. |
