Attendees will gain valuable insights from both the British Chambers of Commerce network and local businesses trading internationally, helping them better understand the ever-changing global trading landscape.
The event will begin with an introduction to Menzies LLP and their investment in Sussex as a key business location, followed by a post-Budget update focused on the implications for internationally trading businesses.
A major focus of the session will be international VAT and tax considerations, an area that continues to present challenges for businesses trading overseas. As global regulations evolve, understanding VAT registration requirements, overseas VAT liabilities, customs obligations, supply chain implications, and cross-border compliance has become increasingly important. Through practical case studies, delegates will gain a better understanding of common pitfalls, emerging risks, and opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs when trading internationally.
