Hastings based website design agency, FAT Promotions have announced their plans to retain the agile work model they’ve developed during lockdown, making the decision to embrace the positive changes they’ve seen as a result of a more flexible project management style.
Fiona Allman-Treen, Managing Director, told us: “Over the last few months we’ve seen our new agile working framework has increased productivity and created a more efficient, productive work environment – plus our whole team is happier! This strategic move is a win-win: By giving our team the freedom to work outside the office, we’re alleviating their childcare concerns and prioritising their mental health, whilst simultaneously improving response times and service levels for our clients.”
FAT Promotions are also excited about gaining access to a wider talent pool across the UK as a result of this move, which they believe will lead to the development of new innovations and a larger team to service their clients’ needs. They will also unlock access to a broader set of web design skills, which they intend to leverage to help their clients stay a step ahead of the game post Covid 19.
Fiona emphasised, “I can’t recall a single year in over nineteen years of running my business where so much has changed so quickly. UK Businesses had to embrace online meetings and digital ways of working, because it was sink or swim. When faced with the unknown as a business owner you can wait and watch, or you can adapt and act. My team not only stepped up to the challenge, they completely changed the game.”
FAT Promotions will be maintaining a base at their headquarters in the Innovation Centre, St Leonards-on-Sea, meaning current working hours and phone number won’t change – plus they’ll be introducing a direct, dedicated line for their existing clients.
Fiona added, “Customer service has always been our number one priority, and we strongly believe an agile working model will allow us to offer even higher levels of service, thanks to new technological innovations, a larger, dedicated team and access to specialised skills that allow us to explore new growth drivers for our clients, including online delivery of training, consultations, payments and bookings.”
