Digital Marketing Administrator
Based in Burgess Hill, Sussex, offering a salary in the range of £16k to £18k (depending on skills and experience).

Role of the Digital Marketing Administrator:
To contribute and drive the organisation’s objectives through sustained creative media (both digital and printed). You will be required to create compelling content, which engages our network in a range of activities and services, with the ability to promote across the Sussex business community.
You will use primarily digital communications to ensure that the right businesses are engaged through careful planning and delivery across a range of channels.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop a good understanding of Sussex Chamber and the British Chambers network
- Plan, schedule and coordinate your work in a timely manner in order to communicate effectively
- Build key relationships by keeping businesses engaged and informed
- Create compelling communications including copywriting, editing and marketing materials
- Develop creative ideas for how to engage with Chamber members and businesses in Sussex
- Develop digital content for external and internal purposes, including videos, creating engaging social media content and updating our website
- Compile and proof-read internal and external communications
- Liaison with external providers in the creation and coordination of a range of communications
- Any other duties as required within the scope of the role
Person Specification:
- A flare for creative design and writing skills and the ability to adapt your style to different audiences and channels
- Digital skills and a strong social media interest
- Strong planning and organisational skills, and a demonstrable experience of multi-tasking and prioritising work to fit with tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work on own initiative
- Attention to detail, good proof-reading skills and ability to adapt writing styles for different channels
- A hard-working attitude and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Experience of working in a membership organisation is desirable but not essential
Computer literacy skills:
- E-marketing software
- Photoshop, Adobe InDesign
- Social media sites: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Microsoft proficiency: Outlook, Word, Powerpoint
- Experience with CMS systems is desirable, but not essential
- In-house SageCRM system
- Knowledge of mailchimp
Hours of work:
Our office hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm exclusive of meal breaks.
