With a background spanning engineering and manufacturing within the aerospace and Formula One sectors, Keith has extensive experience in advanced manufacturing technologies and digital transformation. His expertise includes CAD/CAM systems, augmented and virtual reality, 3D graphics and emerging manufacturing technologies.
Keith's session will explore how manufacturers can embrace technology to become more efficient, competitive and future-ready.
Technology Adoption Specialist, Made Smarter South East
William brings more than 30 years of business experience, including over 20 years in business ownership and executive leadership positions across information technology, cybersecurity, manufacturing, recruitment and gaming sectors.
Beginning his career in electrical engineering before moving into technology leadership, William has held positions including Managing Director, CEO and Non-Executive Director across organisations operating in the UK, Europe, the Americas and South Africa.
Now supporting manufacturers through the Made Smarter South East programme, William will share practical insights on technology adoption, business improvement and how manufacturing businesses can utilise digital tools to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

CEO, Sussex Chamber of Commerce
Ana Christie is CEO of Sussex Chamber of Commerce supporting and campaigning for the business community.
Ana’s extensive business experience both in the UK and internationally, began in aviation, hospitality, then hotel project development. Previously she managed the London Aquarium, a major attraction, before relocating to the Philippines as Executive Vice President of an HR recruitment consultancy and subsequently locating to the British Deputy High Commission in India. Back in the UK, Ana joined a pharmaceutical company overseeing the project management of global clinical trials.
Ana joined the Sussex Chamber of Commerce in 2014 as Chief Executive and has since grown and developed the business membership organisation through the services provided to support business economic growth and performance in the area. She campaigns on key issues through the British Chambers who represent the national and global interests of business in government.
Ana is also an experienced in Martial Arts and in her spare time is a Karate instructor.

Keith is a Technology Adoption Specialist for the Government backed Made Smarter program, which helps SME’s adopt digital technology to grow, Keith has a background in Engineering and Manufacturing in Aerospace and Formula One as well as Consulting on leading edge digital technologies such as CAD/CAM, AR/VR and 3D graphics

Technology Adoption Specialist, Made Smarter South East
William has over 30 years of business experience with more than 20 years in business ownership and various executive leadership roles across Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Gambling / Gaming, Recruitment & Manufacturing. He initially started out with an Electrical Engineering technical background and moved into IT early in his career, completing many international IT certifications, an MSc Degree in Information Systems and recently a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching for Behavioural Change.
Throughout his career, William has excelled as a Managing Director, CEO, and Non-Executive Director, gaining valuable insights into improving operations and driving business performance. His strategic planning and implementation skills have contributed to sustainable growth in businesses operating in South Africa, the UK, Europe, and the Americas.
Over the past 7 years, William has dedicated his efforts to assisting SME business owners in growing and enhancing their enterprises. In April 2024, William joined Surrey County Council as a Business Advisor for Business Surrey. Leveraging his extensive knowledge and skills, he provides general business advice to SME business owners across various sectors and industries in Surrey.
William is now using his extensive Technology and Business background in his Role as a Technology Adoption Specialist for the Made Smarter South-East programme.
