Refurbishment and remodelling of an existing redundant single storey Physics block building within the college campus, to provide new Science teaching facilities.
The space had been left empty since Queen’s University acquired Herstmonceux Estate and has now been repur-posed into a new teaching lab and innovation design space on the Castle campus.
The works included a comprehensive internal fit out with new services installations; roof and walls insulated; new partitioning, ceilings, and windows. Cedar cladding exter-nally to the building, along with new drainage, and a new boiler room was constructed.
