Digital Transformation and Upskilling in the Coast to Capital LEP Area

A direct Call has been published by the Department of Work and Pensions in the Coast to Capital area today worth £2 million of European Social Fund (ESF) for Digital Skills.

Under this Call, Coast to Capital will aim to fund projects that will support SME’s to identify digital training needs, and provide training for employees to develop their digital skills. The full Call specification can be downloaded here. 

As technology progresses and the business world becomes ever more reliant on digital processes and automation, it is important to ensure that our businesses, the people that lead them and that they employ are supported to explore and identify their digital strengths, weaknesses, challenges and opportunities and to develop a digital transformation plan.

Projects must be completed no later than 3 years and 6 months after the proposed project start date, however the ESF Managing Authority reserves the right to vary the maximum duration in exceptional circumstances. All ESF Projects must be completed by 31st December 2023. Project costs cannot be incurred beyond this date.
