The Sussex Sign Company Renews Constructionline Gold Membership for 2026
Portslade-based The Sussex Sign Company has renewed its Constructionline Gold membership and achieved Once For All Health & Safety SSIP certification, strengthening its credentials for public and private-sector projects.
The Sussex Sign Company has renewed its Constructionline Gold membership for another year, underlining the Sussex manufacturer’s continued investment in compliance, safe working and professional project delivery.
The company’s latest Gold Member certificate was issued on 1 September 2026 under registration number 138532. It has also achieved Once For All Health & Safety SSIP certification, assessed on 27 August 2026 and valid until 27 August 2027.
Constructionline is widely used by public-sector bodies, main contractors and private organisations to assess and pre-qualify suppliers. Gold membership requires enhanced verification and aligns suppliers with the Common Assessment Standard, giving buyers greater confidence that key business and risk-management information has already been independently reviewed.
For The Sussex Sign Company, the renewed status supports its work with larger organisations, public bodies, education providers and multi-site businesses where procurement, health and safety documentation and dependable project management are essential.
Norman Mayhew, Managing Director of The Sussex Sign Company, said:
“We are delighted to have renewed our Constructionline Gold membership for another year. Customers quite rightly expect more than a good-looking sign. They need to know that the company they appoint has the systems, experience and professionalism to work safely, communicate clearly and deliver reliably.
“This independent verification gives procurement teams extra reassurance and reflects the consistent effort of our whole team. It is particularly valuable when we are working on busy commercial, education and public-sector sites where planning and coordination are critical.”
Founded in 1995, The Sussex Sign Company has grown from a local family-run business into one of the region’s established signage specialists. From its headquarters and manufacturing operation in Portslade, together with its specialist vehicle wrapping centre at Burgess Hill, the company designs, manufactures and installs signage and vehicle graphics across Sussex, London and the South East.
Its services include external and internal business signs, illuminated signage, wayfinding systems, window and wall graphics, fleet branding, vehicle wraps, site surveys, project management, installation and maintenance.
The business has delivered projects for clients across education, construction, healthcare, retail, leisure and the public sector. It also holds longstanding membership of the British Sign and Graphics Association and has continued to invest in staff skills, equipment and recognised industry standards as it has grown.
Norman added:
“We have always believed that sustainable growth comes from doing the basics exceptionally well: giving honest advice, producing quality work, looking after people and keeping our promises. Renewing Constructionline Gold is another independent measure of that approach.”
The Sussex Sign Company’s Constructionline status is dynamic and can be checked by buyers through the Constructionline platform at the point of procurement.
