Rare and Traditional Breeds Show Returns to the Weald and Downland Living Museum

Having taken a fallow year for 2018, we are delighted to announce that our popular Rare and Traditional Breeds Show is back in fine fettle this year and the Museum would like to invite you to sponsor a class for 2019.

Having taken a fallow year for 2018, we are delighted to announce that our popular Rare and Traditional Breeds Show is back in fine fettle this year and the Museum would like to invite you to sponsor a class for 2019. This can be done as an individual or a Company.

The one-day event will take place on Sunday 14 July 2019, and is unlike any other event at the Museum. Hundreds of smallholders from across the UK come to show their animals and over seven thousand visitors enjoy seeing these beautiful animals in our picturesque, historic setting.

The continuing success of the show depends on the sponsorship from donors such as yourselves and we hope you will consider supporting us. Sponsorship costs £50 per class and includes two free entry tickets to the show worth £28. Your support will also be acknowledged in the show programme against a class in your chosen category. We have over 130 classes across six different categories. You can choose to sponsor a: Pig, Sheep, Cattle, Goat, Fleece/Skein or Young Handler class.

If you would like to sponsor a class, you can do so online by visiting our website https://wealddownland.digitickets.co.uk/category/21580?navItem=67519

Alternatively, you can call Katie in the Fundraising Team on 01243 811010

If you would like to discuss any other forms of sponsorship of the Museums work or our other shows please contact Nicola, Fundraising Development Manager on 01243 811041 or email [email protected]

Together, we can show our support for the farming community and celebrate these wonderful animals. Thank you for your consideration.
