Mid Sussex resident recognised in New Year Honours

Mid Sussex District Council Chairman, Councillor Colin Trumble has congratulated three outstanding individuals, with connections to Mid Sussex, who have been recognised for their service in the New Year Honours List.

Mid Sussex District Council Chairman, Councillor Colin Trumble has congratulated three outstanding individuals, with connections to Mid Sussex, who have been recognised for their service in the New Year Honours List.

 

Mid Sussex resident John Angeli, Director of Parliamentary Audio-Video at the House of Lords, was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to Parliament.

Louise Beaton, a special adviser to Action with Communities in Rural England received an OBE for her work in support of local communities. Louise provided advice and support to Parish Council’s in Mid Sussex, helping them to develop new community facilities including Rawson Hall in Slaugham, The Woodside in Haywards Heath and Court Bushes in Hurstpierpoint.

Dr Rachael Liebmann was also awarded an OBE in recognition of her services to Pathology. Dr Liebmann is a consultant histopathologist at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, where she has worked for six years.   

 

Councillor Colin Trumble, Chairman of Mid Sussex District Council said: “It is always a pleasure to hear of dedicated people, who work so hard to enrich public service, being awarded for their efforts”.
