MCA Consulting Engineers win Professional Services Firm of the Year at the Gatwick Diamond Business Awards 2019.
MCA Consulting Engineers are delighted to announce that, at the recent Gatwick Diamond Business Awards, they won Professional Services Firm of the Year.
The annual awards ceremony, this year hosted by Shaun Williamson at the Effingham Park Hotel, recognises the passion and talent of the Gatwick Diamond Business Community.
This is MCA’s first business award which reflects delivery of exceptional service to clients and demonstrates innovation and outstanding expert knowledge in their field whilst continuing to exhibit excellence in conforming to relevant regulations.
The GDBA judges were impressed by MCA’s strong client base, evidenced by the fact that they have been operating for over 41 years. “The company has firmly established itself in the local community and is well regarded within the industry, offering a range of experience and expertise. As part of their CSR strategy, MCA adopt an innovative approach to supporting local charities and schools through sponsorship and a career development strategy.”
Rebecca Rose, Associate Director at MCA, applied for the award and was part of the team who celebrated at the ceremony. “A few days later we’re all still smiling! It was a bit of a shock to be honest. We were thrilled to be finalists and never thought we would actually collect the award.
“You have a strong belief in how you conduct your business but when a well-respected community like the Gatwick Diamond Business presents you with an award to recognise all that hard work, it’s quite overwhelming.”
The MCA team celebrated well into the night but their thoughts were with two of their colleagues who, on the same night, were raising money for MCA’s chosen charity, Crawley Open House by taking part in the Big Crawley Sleepout.
“All credit to Jerome and Jess who, instead of sipping Champagne in luxurious surroundings, were drinking hot chocolate to try to keep warm!”
MCA Consulting Engineers has enjoyed supporting clients and other professionals for over forty years by working creatively and collaboratively to influence the design of better buildings.
“There is a strong emphasis on promoting staff welfare and continued professional development, over and above what is required in the sector.’ The judging panel states, “The company has a clear strategy in place for continuous development, underpinned by their core values.”
