Kent Construction Expo
The Rap Interiors team had a super day at the Kent Construction Expo on 6 October. As always, it provided a great opportunity for the Rap team to meet local businesses, make new connections, and share free gifts!
Running for over 10 years, the Kent Construction Expo is the largest gathering of construction industry professionals, contractors and suppliers in the South East. This year, the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce ran the event with support from Kent County Council, Medway Council and the Kent Construction Focus Group.
What Went on at the Expo
This year, we freshened things up by holding a World Cup table football competition. Congratulations to the winner Sam L’Anson from Pearson Whiffin, who scored an incredible 12 goals in two and half minutess. Sam representing Ghana, won a bottle of Simpsons Wine Estate Chalklands Classic Cuvee. Brian Hall of LoCase, representing Spain, was a close second with an amazing nine goals, and third came Emma Stafford of MidKent College with eight. Thank you to all of those who rose to our Rap Interiors World Cup table football challenge!
In addition to the World Cup table football, we were delighted to display a beautiful timber wall and moss wall sporting the Rap Interiors Logo. We have Innerspace Cheshire to thank for the amazing design, which went down well amongst the attendees and provided an outside-the-box addition to our stand.
Finally, we finished off the day with a fabulous gala dinner, which consisted of a three course meal and magic show from guest entertainer Ben Hanlin. Our director Parry was lucky enough to be part of the act, being picked out of the crowd by Ben to assist with the magic. We are pleased to say the trick was a success, despite Parry being several beers into the evening!
