With a slant on the original pink theme, Aspen, who manufacture ancillary products for the air conditioning industry decided to give staff the option to “Go Pink or Go Punk” for a small donation. The three best dressed were chosen and presented with prizes. Donations were also raised with a pink themed sweepstake and other lighthearted games, totalling over £250 which was generously match-funded by Aspen to a grand total of £500.

Founded in 1992, Aspen is now an internationally recognised group with 6 in-house brands, trading in over 100 countries – impressive international growth which has seen the company noted as one of the most inspiring businesses in the UK. Speaking of Aspen’s involvement in the event, Chief Financial Officer, Hamish Middleton said: “As a fast growing company, we are always looking for ways to get involved with good causes and give something back and Wear It Pink has been a regular event for us over the last few years. It’s a great chance for everyone to get involved and have a bit of fun while raising money for a fantastic charity.“
