Are you an Architect or Architectural Technologist, or are you working towards becoming one?
Due to landing an exciting new project I am looking for someone to join the company on a full-time basis. Novi Projects specialises in providing architectural design and project management services on Educational, Commercial and Industrial Projects in the South East. I am looking for an experienced Architectural Designer with a background in Autocad and Revit to join the team and develop ongoing and new relationships with clients. We work with a core set of clients, where on-going and repeat business is key. For the right candidate a competitive salary will be offered depending on experience within the industry, with the possibility of taking a share in the business at a future date.
The Role:
- Produce preliminary and detailed designs for new build and refurbishment work.
- Produce Planning and Building Regulation applications.
- Produce tender documents, including specifications, drawings and schedules.
- Carry out QA checks on documents, drawings & schedules.
- Administer the contract. We use the NEC form of contract, and this would include attending meetings, preparing agenda and minutes.
- Be prepared to develop project management skills.
- Assist with the office administration.
- Assist with marketing.
- Being conversant with social media, and updating the web site.
- Meet deadlines set out in weekly meetings.
The Candidate:
- Come from an Architectural design background. Some experience with Structures would be useful.
- Must be CAD proficient and have MS office skills.
- Show a positive attitude and be a team member.
- Be forward thinking.
- Display a confident communication manner on the phone and email.
- Be punctual, proactive and be able to get to and from the workplace.
- Be active in assisting junior members of the team to develop their skills.
- Be active in networking and attending suitable courses that will contribute to their continued professional development.
- Always display a professional attitude to relationships and in decision making.
Salary will be dependent on experience. Formal qualifications are preferred, but it is possible that someone with extensive experience could also fill the role.
