Albion Languages sponsors ATC Language Industry Summit 2019
As newly joined corporate members, Lewes-based translation company Albion Languages will be among the main sponsors of the upcoming ATC Language Industry Summit to be held in London on 19-20 September.
The ATC (Association of Translation Companies, https://atc.org.uk) is one of the oldest translation associations in the world and is recognised as a leading force in the industry. It is also a founding member of the European Union of Association of Translation Companies and one of the developers of the Europe-wide standard for translation services, EN15038. The ATC provides advice and support to its 150 members on all industry matters. It also offers assistance to translation buyers in locating translation partners in specific domains.
The key topics at this year’s national event will be M&A trends and developments in translation technology. The conference will be held at the Old Royal Naval College and aboard the Cutty Sark in Greenwich.
Albion will be represented by General Manager, Alistair Binks and CFO, Peter Marton. Here are their thoughts in advance of the event:
General Manager, Alistair Binks: "As well as the usual top-quality presentations, we're especially looking forward to meeting attendees in the unique historical venues chosen for this year's conference!"
CFO, Peter Marton: "We cannot wait for this year's ATC Summit. We’re hoping to hear all about the latest developments and catch up with our industry friends and colleagues. Hope to see you soon at this memorable occasion!"
