Performance Management training " ABN AMRO Commercial Finance PLC - October 2013 April 2014

"Through Sussex Chamber of Commerce, Melody McMillan has worked in partnership with ABN AMRO Commercial Finance, designing a bespoke course to assist in the implementation of a new appraisal scheme and performance management process. In collaboration with the HR Advisor, Melody delivered a series of highly interactive workshops to the management team, allowing the delegates to participate in performance conversations in a controlled environment. The effectiveness of this development programme has since been measured in terms of the frequency and quality of performance discussions and engagement has improved significantly across the business since the roll out. Melody continues to be one of ABN AMRO Commercial Finance's key trainers and has also recently delivered Presentation Skills courses for them with excellent feedback."

Sales and Business Skills Modular Program No 7 Contact Lenses June 2014 ongoing

"The Sales and Marketing team at No.7 hired Sussex Chamber of Commerce to deliver a variety of courses which build on each other to ensure rounded business skills development over a 6 month period. This began with a 2 part sales training course, and has included time management and written and verbal communication modules, all with excellent feedback. The team have planned the implementation of each course together during the sessions and noticed results which support the planned expansion of their business. They are now looking at widening the training to include Customer Service staff and to keep up the momentum they have built so far."

Management Development Project, Moody Sewage Ltd. April 2014- ongoing

"Moody Sewage are a fast growing organisation with ambitious plans. The MD decided to outsource all Management and Staff Development to Sussex Chamber of Commerce early in 2014 and has been so pleased with the results he is now looking at continuing this arrangement through 2015 and ongoing.
Melody has delivered various modules for the management team covering Communication and Assertiveness Skills, People and Team Management and Time Management topic areas. She has also trained the whole business on Customer Service Excellence.

The MD has noticed positive results strategically and operationally. The contract has been particularly interesting because it has challenged Melody to design creative content which inspire staff from different levels and a varied mix of learning styles."

Time Management training & coaching, Glyndebourne Productions Ltd, April 2012 - ongoing

"Through Sussex Chamber of Commerce, Melody McMillan has worked extensively with Glyndebourne and many of its staff. She tailored her Time Management course to appeal to administrative staff and then delivered a different version for staff in practical roles in costume production and wig making staff. Melody has since been asked to undertake one to one coaching with ?individuals to help them work on their personal effectiveness. All those trained and coached have left with clear personal action plans to help them be more efficient and effective. Further to the above sessions Melody also delivered Communication and Assertiveness training for line managers in May 2012; Speaking Confidently for senior managers and those who have to make public announcements in March 2012; and Customer Service training in February 2013. The success of all the above programmes has led to an on-going partnership with Glyndebourne Productions Ltd."
