We’re keeping a close eye on the impact of Covid-19 across the logistics piece and would like to reassure everyone that supply chains are generally holding up OK. While there are delivery constraints in some quarantined areas, there is plenty of optimism that goods will continue to flow freely to most destinations, including the UK.
Here in the UK, social distancing is causing unusual demands for urgent items, such as medical equipment and food packages. For example, we received a call from BUPA to collect ‘care packages’ from their locations in Brighton and London and deliver them to the elderly in their regions. If you have any unusual delivery requirements, we have the people, vehicles and space to help.
Where there are abnormalities, such as the impact of reduced aircraft availability on international freight services, we can offer flexible alternatives to make sure your deliveries arrive in good time.
Our Global Import and Global Export Courier services are running as normal and will provide a fast, flexible option to expedite urgent items. Our ‘third country’ deliveries between overseas countries are moving freely too.
