If we can relieve our customers of their fulfilment and delivery workload, they can concentrate on making their business grow. That’s the principle behind everything we do at ILG. It’s a recipe for mutual success that requires a handful of essential ingredients:
- UK-based customer service
- Global reach
- Ample warehouse capacity
- IT systems integration
- A choice of carriers
- Import/export expertise
- Simple ordering
This has been our approach since ILG UK was founded in 1990, since when we have grown from a small, ambitious company providing delivery services out of one warehouse in Sussex to one of the UK’s leading 3PL partners. In 2018 we became part of Yusen Logistics, which has added heavy air cargo and sea freight services to our established international courier services, as well as a global network of storage facilities, including more than 100 bases in Europe.
We have become specialists in outsourced order fulfilment, providing high-quality warehousing, rework and packaging services to prestige brands in sectors including Travel, Marine, Education, Healthcare, E-commerce, Technology and a number of highend Fashion and Beauty brands.
Underpinning everything we do are three guiding principles: choice, simplicity and customer service. We won’t leave you hanging on the telephone, we won’t let deliveries go missing without trace and we won’t let you pay over the odds for the services you receive.
Success for us is helping our customers to be successful.

We’re keeping a close eye on the impact of Covid-19 across the logistics piece and would like to reassure everyone that supply chains are generally holding up OK. While there are delivery constraints in some quarantined areas, there is plenty of optimism that goods will continue to flow freely to most destinations, including the UK.
Here in the UK, social distancing is causing unusual demands for urgent items, such as medical equipment and food packages. For example, we received a call from BUPA to collect ‘care packages’ from their locations in Brighton and London and deliver them to the elderly in their regions. If you have any unusual delivery requirements, we have the people, vehicles and space to help.
Where there are abnormalities, such as the impact of reduced aircraft availability on international freight services, we can offer flexible alternatives to make sure your deliveries arrive in good time.
Our Global Import and Global Export Courier services are running as normal and will provide a fast, flexible option to expedite urgent items. Our ‘third country’ deliveries between overseas countries are moving freely too.
Please feel free to contact me if ILG can help your business through this period of uncertainty.
In all cases we are, of course, adhering to the latest medical guidelines on preventing the spread of the virus, so you can have total confidence in the safety of your deliveries. If you want to talk to us about your delivery needs, please call us on 020 8970 7117.
