CXK is a charity that delivers a range of services to empower young people and adults across the south-east. We help people to build the skills and confidence they need to move into sustainable education, employment or training by delivering a range of services and support programmes. Through those programmes we provide employability support, careers information advice and guidance, and work experience opportunities. And we help people to build employability skills, social skills and the confidence to become work ready.
Through services such as the National Careers Service, the Prince’s Trust Team programme, Elevate, and the NEET Support Service, we’re proud to have supported more than 50,000 people last year alone.
Working in partnership with businesses, voluntary organisations and other agencies, we deliver services that meet the needs of the individuals and communities that we work with. As an organisation, you could partner with us in a number of ways - through corporate sponsorship, for instance, or by providing work placements, work experience opportunities, or perhaps mock interview support for some of the hundreds of young people that we work with every year.

Free, professional careers and training support is available to organisations and their staff during the COVID-19 period.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT FOR FURLOUGHED STAFF
We can offer support to furloughed staff, who may benefit from guidance on how they can continue their learning and training online. This is something they can access individually, working with a dedicated adviser to explore a huge range of free courses to expand their digital and numeracy skills.
We are also available to carry out a Training Needs Analysis to identify training needs for your workforce. We can consider training to support staff in working effectively from home or returning to work; training to boost confidence and morale; and ensure that your team is skilled to meet the existing and future needs of your business.
This could include:
- Specific COVID-19 health and safety training
- Mindfulness and Mental Wellbeing
- Working from Home Effectively
- Utilising technology to support working from home
Our dedicated team of advisers can work with employers to support the redundancy process. This team tailors the National Careers Service offer to suit your business’s requirements, supporting staff to develop their transferable skills and find alternative employment.
Our advisers are exceptionally placed to empower and support your team to identify the right learning opportunities and to plan the next steps in their careers. Best of all – it’s free.
Your employees can access the service by calling 0800 100 900. If you as an organisation would like to discuss organising support for your employees, please contact Rachel Waller on 01233 224244 or email email@example.com.
