Manufacturing Industry Forum

Next Manufacturing Forum: 15th December 2020 - 9AM-10:30AM

Celebrating Sussex Business Manufacturing Heroes

The Chamber network launched a campaign earlier this year to recognise the incredible work that UK businesses are doing, in the most challenging of years. We're pleased to say that we've received some fantastic stories about businesses and individuals across Sussex.

Join us to hear from some of our great Sussex Manufacturing Business Heroes.

Speakers will be announced shortly.

They will be giving us an insight on what challenges they had to overcome to implement changes and how they had to adapt during this difficult time.

The manufacturing industry continues to develop throughout the UK, giving a need
for help and support for businesses in that sector.

This quarterly Forum invites all organisations within the manufacturing industry to build connections with other organisations opening new opportunities and potential trade.

We aim to do this in three ways:

We provide opportunities for networking and information sharing, both through focused events on topics such as; Innovation, Skills, Export and Access to Finance and also to keep manufacturers up to date with the latest news, sector initiatives and sources of business support.

The Forum acts as a positive voice for regional manufacturers, by showcasing their achievements in order to attract both customers and inward investment and by demonstrating the breadth and potential of careers and educational options in the sector. We continuously promote the region's manufacturing capabilities to the wider world.

We want to ensure that the regional manufacturing community has access to opportunities to innovate within their organisations in order to support growth. We will do this by helping manufacturers identify and access potential collaborators and sources of support.
